--------- Mathewson, Ethel (Marriage - 4 MAR 1924)
Miss Ethel Mathewson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Whitbeck of this city
(Owen, Clark County, Wis.), and Mr. John Warns of Clark were united in marriage
Tuesday at the 10 o'clock mass at the Catholic Church at Abbotsford, Father
Eiselmann officiating. The young couple was attended by Mr. Fred Warns, a
brother of the groom, and Mrs. P. J. Abler of this city.
The groom is a hustling young farmer living in the township of Maplehurst,
Taylor Co., and is well and favorably known. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred
Warns, Sr., one of the pioneer settlers in that district.
The bride is a young lady of fine personality, and has a large circle of friends
who wish her happiness in her married life.
The young couple returned to Amber Tuesday evening, and went to the home on the
groom's farm, which he recently completed. Their many friends extend to them
good wishes and happiness.
