CELEBRATES SILVER WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
Mr. and Mrs. Ben Krom celebrated their silver wedding anniversary Wednesday April 1st, at their home. It was a complete surprise sprung on them by their friends, there being about fifty people who took possession of their home after they had been invited out to spend the evening with friends. A telephone call calling them home, telling them they had company from Thorp caused them to return to their home. Mr. and Mrs. Krom have lived in Withee for twenty-five years, Mrs. Krom came here as a bride from Chicago, also other relatives. Besides a beautiful silver tea set from their friends in the village they received many other pretty gifts from away.
