A quiet wedding took place this afternoon at one o'clock at the parsonage of the
First Congregational Church, Rev. W. P. Powell officiating, when Charles McCarty
and Miss Hannah Sorlin, both of Hoard Township, Clark County, Wis., were united
in the holy bonds of wedlock. The young couple is well and favorably known in
this city and in Curtiss, and their many friends wished for them a happy wedded
life. They will be at home after ten days on the groom's farm northeast of the
city.
