On Saturday afternoon, Sept. 1, at four o'clock at Whitewater, Wis., occurred
the marriage of Miss Elizabeth Kwapil to Mr. Walter L. Radke of this city (Owen,
Clark County, Wis.). The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Doris Kwapil of that
city, and the ceremony took place in the Chapel of the Congregational Church, in
the presence of relatives of both the bride and the groom. They were attended by
Miss Janice Smith, the bride's aunt of Seattle, and Frederick Radke, the groom's
brother of Fond du Lac. Rev. Neil H. Hansen of Galesburg, Ill., officiated. Mr.
Radke is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Radke of this city, and is a graduate of
the University of Wis., school of engineering, class of 1925, and is now
employed in Tennessee. The young couple left shortly after the wedding for a
trip to Guatemala.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Radke and son, Carl, of this city, went to Whitewater to be
present at the marriage of their son, returning home on Monday, Labor Day.
