--------- Kitze, Elaine M. (Marriage - 23 SEP 1929)
Miss Elaine Marie Kitze, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Kitze of this city
(Owen, Clark County, Wis.), and Mr. John S. Piltz, son of Mr. and Mrs. William
Piltz of Wis. Rapids, were united in the holy bonds of matrimony at two o'clock
Monday afternoon, Sept. 23, 1929, at St. Paul, Minn.
The young couple left here early in the morning, going to St. Paul, and at Eau
Claire were joined by Mrs. Florence Weisbrod, a friends of the bride, and Arthur
Piltz, brother of the groom, who acted as witnesses.
The bride is a graduate of the Owen High School, of the class of 1929, and is a
likeable young lady. The groom, for the past two summers, has been in Owen as an
engineer in highway construction.
Following the wedding the young couple left for a ten day motor trip to Chicago,
Milwaukee and other points in Wisconsin and Illinois. They will be home after
their return at Eau Claire.
