A very pretty wedding took place at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Nissen,
one mile east of Owen, Clark County, Wis., July 16, 1912. The ceremony was
conducted by the Rev. A. W. Cook, pastor of the Congregational Church of Owen.
The bride, Miss Anna Nissen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Nissen, and the
groom, Mr. Wm. J. Frasier of Grand Rapids, Minn. The best man was Mr. Robert
Nissen and the bridesmaid Miss Agnes Peterson. The wedding took place at 4
o'clock in the afternoon. The bride and groom then received the best wishes and
congratulations of the entire party, among those present was the entire family
and relatives and immediate friends.
The bride and groom were the recipients of many useful and beautiful wedding
gifts. They expect to make their future home at Grand Rapids, Minn. The bride is
well known here at Owen and vicinity, having taught district school for the past
five years.
The groom, Mr. Wm. Frasier, is connected with the firm of Shevlin Mathieu Lumber
Co. of Spooner, Minn., and has traveled through these parts for some years past.
The newly married couple certainly has the best wishes of the entire community.
The wedding dinner was served on the lawn in front of the residence. The tables
looked fine and dinner was enjoyed by the entire wedding party.
