A very pretty wedding was solemnized Saturday evening at the Finnish Evangelical
Lutheran Church, when Miss Tiny Venet of Owen, Clark County, Wis., daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Victor Venet, became the bride of Douglas Donald Gould of Owen. The
ceremony was performed by the Rev. A. O. Kunisto.
The bride was attired in a gown of white satin combined with Spanish lace and
wore a veil of tulle and lace, and carried a bouquet of roses. The bridesmaids
were Miss Elma Arola, attired in pale blue crepe, and Miss Lempi Venet, who wore
peach colored crepe, each carrying a bouquet of roses. The attendants of the
bridegroom were Edward Venet, best man, and Wallace Kozlowski.
After the ceremony a bountiful lunch was served in the church parlor to a large
number of guests.
The young couple was the recipients of many useful gifts.
