Marine Cpl Tod K. Lube has departed on deployment to Beruit, Lebanon, with the Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron-264, Marine Corps Station. The squadron is part of the 22nd Marine Amphibious Unit and is deployed aboard the USS Guadalcanal.

Lube, Pfc. Tod K.

Marine Pfc. Tod K. Lube, son of Carol Lube, Route 1, Colby and Ken Lube, Curtiss, has completed recruit training at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego.

During the 11-week training cycle, he learned the basics of battlefield survival, participated in an physical conditioning program and gained proficiency in a variety of military skills, including first aid, rifle marksmanship and close order drill.

A 1980 graduate of Colby High School, Lube joined the marine Corps in June 1980.
