Rolfs, Sharon Ann Marie (8 April 1940 – 18 February 2021)
Sharon Ann Marie Rolfs, 80, of Black River Falls, died Thursday, February 18,
2021 at Black River Memorial Hospital. She was born April 8, 1940, in Milwaukee,
to Julius and Margaret (Hamilton) Rosewitz. She grew up in in West Allis.
Sharon married Robert Rolfs on March 24, 1962 in Milwaukee. She worked as a
beautician in Milwaukee. In 1977, Bob and Sharon bought Bobbin Inn in Hatfield.
They owned it for 18 years. Sharon also worked at Northern Engraving in Sparta,
Dadco Foods, Walmart, and Burnstads all in Black River Falls.
Sharon loved her house plants and keeping her house tidy. She enjoyed gardening,
playing darts, making crafts, jazzercise, and cooking for her family. She also
was on a bowling team from Hatfield.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Bob of Black River Falls; her children, Randy
Rolfs of Black River Falls and Robert (Hayley) Rolfs of Cataract; grandchildren,
Shannon and Sara; step grandchildren, Braeden, Logan, and Liam; sister, Judy
(Butch) Kapalczynski of Crivitz; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Jerry and Lerow.
The family would like to thank the staff at Black River Memorial Hospital,
especially Linda and Donna.
There will be no services at this time. The family wishes that memorials be
directed to the Children’s Miracle Network at Gundersen Health System, 1836
South Ave, La Crosse, WI 54601.
