Teatz, Robert H. (5 November 1947 – 24 February 2021)
Robert H. Teatz, 73, Marshfield, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at
Marshfield Medical Center.
Robert was born on November 5, 1947 in Granton to Royal and Adelaide (Fencil)
Teatz. He graduated from Loyal High School in 1965. Robert was united in
marriage to Carol Krall on April 27, 1968 at St. John’s Catholic Church in
Marshfield. He worked at Weyerhaeuser, Rollohome, Johnson Garment, Land O’Lakes,
Pick ‘N Save, and Target. Robert enjoyed traveling with his wife, camping, and
collecting baseball cards and memorabilia. He was also an avid Minnesota Twins
and Green Bay Packers fan.
He is survived by his wife, Carol, daughter, Lori (Jeff) Fuehrer, son, David
Teatz, granddaughter, Nicole Teatz of Eau Claire, and grandson, Kyler Teatz, of
Stevens Point. He is further survived by his brother, Jim Teatz.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Carrie Teatz.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at
Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, where visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until
service time. Rev. Keith Kitzhaber will officiate.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 6, 2021
at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, where the visitation will be from 9:00 am
until service time. Rev. Douglas Robertson will officiate, and members of the
Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree Assembly will form a guard of honor. Burial
will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield, where military rites will be
conducted by the American Legion Post 54 of Marshfield and his grandchildren
will serve as pallbearers.
