James Peterson & Sons, Inc. started in the road building business in the 1940's.
In 1977, they began a ready-mix concrete business in the Medford area. In the
fall of 1980, they saw a need to expand their business and so looked into the
Curtiss area. In the spring of 1981, land was purchased from Les Bowen on the
northeast corner of Curtiss and a plant was built to serve the Curtiss area.
