McCluskey, Dolores B. “Doddie” (? – 1 Oct 2001)
Private services for Dolores B. “Dodie” (Schoenwetter) McCluskey, 80, will be
Saturday. Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d’Alene is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. McCluskey, who was born in Neillsville, Wisconsin, died Monday.
She lived in California and worked for Lockheed Missiles for 11 years before
retiring.
Mrs. McCluskey moved to the Coeur d’Alene area in the late 1970’s and was
involved in gardening.
She was a member of the Kootenal Amateur Radio Society (KARS), whe she was known
by her call letters, KC7AUK.
She enjoyed reading, collecting toys, flower gardening, science fiction and arts
and crafts.
Mrs. McCluskey raised six children as well as her granddaughter, Constance
McCluskey Fish.
Her husband, John, preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis Lowrey of St. John, Washington, and Mark
McCluskey of Rathdrum; three daughters, Michelle Pavlovich Luning of Yenngton,
Nevada, Maureen McCluskey Shafer of Athol, Idaho, and Colleen McCluskey of
Spokane; two sisters, Betty Lowrey and Ruth Schumacher; 19 grandchildren and
seven great-grandchildren.
