Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, October 24 – The Soo Line passenger train No 1, the
Chicago and Minneapolis fast mail, was wrecked at Allerton this morning. The
entire train, except the engine, was ditched. The injured passengers were:
Edward Leuloff, Colby, Wisconsin; Louis Lueloff, Curtiss, Wisconsin, T. F.
McGee, Minneapolis. R. Mayer, conductor of the cafe car and T. L. Kelley,
porter, of Chicago, also were slightly injured. No one was severely hurt.
