Masephol, Edna H. (18 January 1924 – 3 March 2021)
Edna H. Masephol, 97, of Marshfield, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at
the Marshfield Health Services Nursing Home.
She was born on January 18, 1924, in the Clark County Town of Fremont, to the
late John and Louise (Beilke) Prust and graduated from Loyal High School.
Throughout her life, Edna had worked at Roddis, Weyerhaeuser, Figi’s, the
Marshfield Convalescent Center, and was a homemaker.
She enjoyed vegetable gardening, embroidery and reading; and she was a member of
Christ Lutheran Church in Chili.
Edna is survived by her daughter; Irene (Art Dahl) Martens; grandchildren, Roy
Hoff Jr., Katrina (Jason) Karl, Renee (Ryan) Sletten, April Martens and Tiffany
Martens; great-granddaughter, Brynlee Karl; son-in-law, Roy Hoff Sr.; sister,
Viola Otto; and sister-in-law, Vera Prust. In addition to her parents, Edna was
preceded in death by daughter, Karen Hoff; son, Richard Masephol; grandson, Ryan
Hoff; brother, Robert Prust; sister, Dorothy Friant; and brother, Harold Prust.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 8, 2021, at
Christ Lutheran Church in Chili with Pastor Dan Schoessow officiating. Burial
will follow in the Yolo Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Monday
beginning at 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Online condolences may be made
