Hubert, Edna Mae (2 December 1910 - 23 March 1983)
Mrs. Arnold (Edna Mae) Hubert, 72, of Milwaukee, formerly of Greenwood died at a
Milwaukee hospital March 23, where she had been a patient for a week.
Services were Saturday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, with the Rev. David
Boettcher officiating. Burial was in Wisconsin Memorial Park, Milwaukee.
The former Edna Mae McConnell was born December 2, 1910 in Greenwood, the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert (Isabelle Peterson) McConnell. She was a 1928
graduate of Greenwood High School. She taught school in the area for several
years.
She was married to Arnold Hubert June 7, 1933 in Greenwood. After their marriage
they lived in Greenwood and Owen before moving to Milwaukee, where she resided
for the past 30 years.
Surviving are her husband; one son, Ronald of Anchorage, Alaska; one daughter,
Mrs. Earl (LaVonne) Bethloff of Milwaukee; four grandchildren; and one brother,
Roy McConnell of Clinton.
She was predeceased by a sister, Mrs. Mabel Sather.
