Morley, Frank George (24 Aug 1857 – 2 Mar 1936)
Frank George Morley, 84-year-old local resident, died at 7:45 a.m., Sunday at a
local hospital after a year’s illness. Heart disease was given as the cause of
death.
Mr. Morley has been making his home with his son, Lyman W. Morley, 615 Fifth
Street. Fr 10 years prior to his retirement, he was employed at the Grand
Pacific Hotel.
Born August 24, 1857 at Sparta, Wisconsin, he received his education there,
coming to North Dakota as a young man. For many years he lived on a farm in
Stutsman County, where he was chairman of the township school board. He moved to
Bismarck in 1919.
He leaves two other children, Bert Morley of Owen, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Arvilla
Peck of Rockford, Illinois.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday at the Webb Funeral Chapel,
with Rev. Walter E. Vater, pastor of the McCabe Methodist Episcopal Church,
officiating. Burial will be made in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The body will lie at
Webb’s until time for the funeral.
