Brenner, Susan Marie (26 March 1983)
Miss Susan Marie Brenner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Brenner of Route 1,
Loyal, was given in marriage by her father March 26 to Bernard LaVern Wilke, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Wilke, Route 2, Loyal.
The Rev. James J. Logan officiated at the ceremony in St. Anthony's Catholic
Church, Loyal. Darla Rueth played the organ and Patti Nickel sang.
The bride wore a Queen Anne lace and chiffon gown and a lace veiled crown. She
carried lavender carnations and roses with baby's breath.
Mrs. Susan Burkhalter of Spencer was matron of honor with Miss Shari Brenner,
Miss Kim Voigt and Miss Lisa Wilke, all of Loyal, bridesmaids. They had lavender
blouson dresses with chiffon jackets and lavender long-stemmed roses with baby's
breath.
Steve Wilke of River Falls was best man; Jerry Pernsteiner, Warren Trampbush and
Tony Wilke, all of Loyal, were groomsmen; and Ed Kollmansberger, Loyal, and Jim
Sheets, Sheboygan, ushered.
Dinner was served in the church hall with the dance and reception at American
Legion Hall, Loyal. The couple is living on Route 2, Loyal. Both graduated from
Loyal High school, the bride in 1982 and her husband in 1981. She works at the
Parkway Bar, Greenwood, and he is with Lindner Construction, Greenwood.
