Weirich, Sarah – Sister has Party for Her (1909)

Mrs. Beulah Gruber entertained Friday in honor of her sister, Mrs. Clara Weirich of Owen, Wisconsin. The afternoon passed quickly and the ladies were invited to the dining room, where a bountiful repast awaited them. On arriving there they were informed that they might eat if they could find their places, and a general hunt ensued. At last the place cards were discovered, son on the bottom of chairs, son on the underside of plats, and others in various places. All proceeded to do justice to the viands set before them.

Those present were Mesdames Urban Mather, Roy Mather, Bert McCoy, Fred Pobjoy, Grant Pobjoy, F. W. Bass, Edmond Johnson, Judson Waterbury, Stephen Premo, Misses Lillian Beck and Effie Mather.
