Utke, Wilhelmina H. (1 Sep 1835 – 25 Mar 1919)

Mrs. Wilhelmina H. Utke died at 5:30 o’clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. H. Paulsen, 510 Tenth Street, Rock Island. Death was caused by infirmities incident to old age.

Wilhelmina Hardwig was born in Germany September 1, 1835. She came to this country in 1880, settling in Iowa. She moved to Rock Island 32 years ago, and had since made her home in this city. Her husband preceded her in death 34 years ago.

She is survived by four daughters: Mrs. J. H. Paulsen, Mrs. O. Herzog and Mrs. J. Bahen of this city, and Mrs. F. Hansen, Davenport, Iowa., and four sons, Herman and August, Rock Island, Albert of Owen, Wisconsin, and Gustaf of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
