Clara Idella, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Death, was born September 27, 1874
near Hackney, Ohio. She was married to J. W. Ludman September 8, 1897. To this
union one daughter was born. She united with the M.E. Church in 1893, under the
pastorate of Rev. G. G. Maple, and remained an active member until the church
was discontinued, at which time she transferred her membership to the Smith’s
Chapel M. P. Church.
She departed this life on December 9, 1925, at the age of 51 yeas 2 months and
13 days, leaving to mourn their loss, a father-in-law and husband of the home,
one daughter and one son-in-law, Glenna and Frank Watson, one granddaughter,
Marjorie Watson, and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Val Combs,
Beverly, Ohio; Mrs. F. C. Watson, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. D. E. Packard,
Rockford, Illinois; Mrs. F. H. Carroll, McConnelsville, Ohio; Mrs. G. W.
McFerren, Beverly, Ohio; Mrs. Mrs. C. G. Bozman, Hebron, Ohio, and J. A. Dearth
of Owen, Wisconsin.
