Bahen, Minnie (1876? – 4 Feb 1920)

Mrs. Joseph S. Bahen, 1102 ½ Third Avenue, died at 4:30 o’clock yesterday afternoon at her home, from pneumonia.

Her maiden name was Minnie Utke, and she was born at Olin, Iowa, 43 years ago. She was married December 9, 1915 at Chester, Pa., to Joseph Bahen, who survives her.

She is survived also by sisters, Mrs. John H. Paulsen of Rock Island, Mrs. Fred Hansen of Davenport, Mrs. Martha Herzog of Rock Island; a half-sister, Mrs. E. Krueger of Olin, Iowa; brothers, Albert Utke of Owen, Wisconsin, August Utke of Detroit, Gustave Utke of Cedar Rapids, and Harry Utke of Rock Island.

Funeral services will be held at 9 o’clock Saturday morning at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, in charge of Rev. P. H. Durkin. Interment will be at Chippiannock Cemetery.
