Helm, Adelia Erna (25 November 1903 - 7 April 1983)
GRANTON -- Services will be Monday at Zion Lutheran Church for Mrs. Louis
(Adelia) Helm, 79, of Granton, who died Thursday at Memorial Hospital,
Neillsville.
The Rev. Kevin L. Wenker will officiate and burial will be in the Parish
Cemetery. Visitation will be at Gilbertson Funeral Home. Memorials may be given
to Zion Lutheran Church, Granton.
Mrs. Helm, the former Adelia Erna Garbisch, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Henry
(Christine Gluch) Garbisch November 25, 1903 in the Town of Grant. She received
her education at Wild Rose School, Zion Lutheran Parochial School and Granton
High School.
She and Louis Helm were married September 8, 1929 in Zion Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her husband; four sons, Walter of Chili, Norman of Kalamazoo,
Michigan, Roland of Cedarburg and Eldon of Granton; 14 Grandchildren; five
great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Henry (Clara) Helm. Granton, and Mrs.
Alfred (Florence) Wolkenhauer, Lyndon Station; and one brother, Edward of
Granton.
She was predeceased by her parents, one sister and two brothers.
