Hemp, Herbert (1908- 8 April 1983)

NEILLSVILLE -- Herbert Hemp, 75, of Wisconsin Rapids, formerly of Neillsville, died Friday at Northridge Hospital, Northridge, California.

Services will be Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Wisconsin Rapids, with burial in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Taylor Funeral Home, Wisconsin Rapids.

He was born in Neillsville and married Edith Drolson March 14, 1935 in St. Paul, Minnesota. He worked for Preway Co., Wisconsin Rapids, for more than 30 years, retiring in 1973.

Surviving are a daughter of Chippewa Falls; a son, Merwyn Hemp of Northridge, California; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
