Two horses belonging to S. Andrews of Greenwood, Clark Co., Wisconsin were stung
by hornets recently. They tipped over a load of hay, broke the wagon into
fragments and dashed across the field at a fearful rate. Finally, one of the
horses ran against a stump, and was killed almost instantly from the bursting of
a blood vessel.
