Marquette University (Honors – Fall Semester 2020)

Yadira Castillo of Dorchester has graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee. Castillo earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Castillo was one of 476 students to graduate from Marquette last semester.

Castillo was also one of three local students to been named to the university’s dean’s list for the fall 2020 semester. The other two were Neillsville natives Joseph Anason and Callie Schmidt. Anason is pursuing a bachelor of Science degree in accounting and Schmidt, is pursuing a bachelor of science degree in physics.

To make the Dean’s list, students must have earned at least 12 credits for the fall 2020 semester and have no disqualifying grades. The grade-point average (GPA) threshold varies by college. For the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences, undergraduate students must have at least a 3.7 GPA to be named to the dean’s list. The undergraduate GPA requirement is a 3.5 for t he College o Business Administration.
