Ziegler, Joyce Ann (Marriage - ? 1976)
Mr. and Mrs. Warren Reed Beaver, who were married at Dt. Patrick’s Church,
Sparta, by the Rev. Bernard Kelly, are making their home in Owatonna, Mn., where
the groom is employed as assistant manager of a retail store. Mrs. Beaver, the
former Miss Joyce Ann Ziegler, is employed at the Mayo Clinic in radiology.
Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Ziegler, Rt. 1 Sparta, presented their daughter in marriage
to the son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Beaver of Onalaska, and formerly of
Neillsville.
The bride’s gown of Marcaine trimmed with Venice lace was styled with a Queen
Anne neckline, long, fitted sleeves, crescent waistline and softly gathered
skirt flowing into a chapel trin. Her matching lace Camelot headpiece held a
full length mantilla veil. Large yellow roses, baby’s breath and ivy formed her
bouquet.
Laurie Geier, Sparta, was the bride’s honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Rosemary
Ziegler and Linda Ziegler of Sparta. Leann Beaver of Onalaska and Marla Larsen
of Eau Claire. Their lemon yellow gowns were fashioned similarly to the bride’s.
They carried arrangements of yellow tea roses and baby’s breath.
James Larsen, Eau Claire, served as bestman, with John Kapusta of Lake Elmo, Mn.,
Jeff Berendes of Sparta, Randy Thimmesch of Marshfield and LeRoy Karnatz if
Menomonie as groomsmen. Ushering duties were shared by Donald Kuderer and James
Mashak.
“The Wedding Song” was played by Caryn Brandsteter.
The new Mrs. Beaver is a 1974 graduate of Sparta Senior high School and a 1976
graduate of Western Wisconsin Technical Institute. Her husband graduated from
Neillsville High School in 1973.
They honeymooned in Wisconsin Dells.
