King, Oliver C. (1915? – 23 Oct 1975)
The death of Liver C. King, 61, on the 23rd of October, 1975, was announce in
the December issue of Falcon Features, a publication put out by WSU-River Falls.
Oliver (Ollie) King was a member of the Owen High School faculty, coming here in
1932, and also served as head football, basketball and baseball coach. He was a
1931 graduate of River Falls State Teachers College and a former Menomonie
resident. After leaving Owen he was employed in government services and for the
past 30 years had made his home in Minneapolis.
He is survived by his wife, Aagot, two sisters, and a brother.
He last visited Owen when he attended the class reunion of the Class of 1934,
five years ago last August.
