Lenser, Emil F. (3 Feb 1886 – 1 Jan 1976)
Funeral services for Emil F. Lenser, 89, Curtiss, were held at one o’clock
Monday January 5, 1976 at Kraut-Maurina Funeral Home, with the Rev. Roger
Tellock of St. Paul’s American Lutheran Church, Curtiss, in charge. Burial was
made at Pine Hill Cemetery, Curtiss.
Serving as pallbearers were Elmer Lueth, Felder Lueth, Gene Jensen, Carl Jakel,
Charles Frey and Ed Krause.
Mr. Lenser, who died at 9:30 Thursday night at the Havenet Nursing Home, Owen,
where he was a resident, was born February 3, 1886 in Germany. He attended the
Curtiss area school and for many years farmed in the town of Mayville.
He married the former Dencie Pettet on October 1, 1914 at North Port. She
survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Leona Lueth, Curtiss; three brothers,
Bill, Paul and Theodore, all of Milwaukee, and two sisters, Miss Della Lenser
and Miss Caroline Lenser, both of Milwaukee.
