Lehman, Gwendolyn Darlene (Marriage – 28 August 1976)
Mr. and Mrs. Francis Don Friemoth, who were married August 28 in ceremonies
performed at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, East Troy, by the Rev. Joseph Hicker,
have returned from a wedding trip to Washington, D.C., Virginia, Florida and
Wyoming and are making their home on Rt. 1 Neillsville.
Mrs. Friemoth, the former Miss Gwendolyn Darlene Lehman is the daughter of Jack
and Sylvia Lehman of Rt. 2 East Troy. Milton and Yvonne Friemoth, Rt. 1
Neillsville are the groom’s parents.
Mr. and Mrs. Lehman presented their daughter in marriage. Mrs. Lehman had
fashioned the bride’s gown and cape.
Mrs. Jackie Braun was the matron of honor, and Shan Kramer, Lynn Langreck and
Laurel Carter, Becky Grunow and DeeDee Umbreit were bridesmaids.
The groom was attended by Richard Friemoth as bestman and by Ben Nelson, Jim
Langreck, Greg Lehman, Rob Condon and Kenny Friemoth as groomsmen. Rod Condon,
Dan Ninedorf, Roy Friemoth and Oley Nelson seated guests.
Miss Beverly Friemoth was the flower girl and Kelly Lehman, the ring bearer.
The organist was Mrs. Chart and the soloist, Kenny Link.
Following the ceremony, the bride and groom were given a ride around town in a
tractor-drawn hay wagon.
A 6 p.m. dinner served for the wedding party and immediate family at the East
Troy Youth Center was followed by an 8 p.m. reception there. Music was by Herb
Herzeg’s band.
The new Mrs. Friemoth is a carpenter’s assistant, and her husband is a
carpenter.
Among those attending the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Tom Moarman of Michigan, Mr.
and Mrs. Tom Rail of Illinois and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Walters, Mr. and Mrs.
Wayne Kuhl, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Paulson and Mr. and Mrs. Milton Friemoth, all of
Neillsville or the vicinity.
