Petznick, Dawn Ann (Marriage – 18 September 1976)
Miss Dawn Ann Petznick became the bride of Steven Harry Bedell on Saturday,
September 18, at St. John Cantius Church in Fairchild. The Rev. David Zieglmeier
officiated at the 1 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd
Petznick, Rt. 1 Fairchild, and the son of Mr. and Mrs, Harry Bedell,
Neillsville.
Presented in marriage by her father, the bride appeared in an ivory, Juliette
style gown featuring lace panels on the skirt and framed by a long veil. She
carried an arrangement of silk flowers with pink roses predominating.
Mrs. Lesa Anderson of Homestead, Fl., sister of the bride, was her honor
attendant. The groom’s sister, Miss Pat Bedell of Neillsville, was the
bridesmaid. Their full length, full-skirted, sleeveless gowns of polyester in
shades of lavender and blue, respectively, were fashioned by the bride and
featured harmonizing blue and lavender floral capes. Their bouquets included
mixed silk flowers.
Cousins of the groom were his attendants. They were Jeff Bedell, Coon Rapids, Mn.,
as bestman and Tim Burr, Neillsville, as groomsman. Guests were seated by Mark
Heiman, cousin of the groom and Larry Kohn, uncle of the bride.
Miss Pamela Selz was the organist.
A reception was held at St. John’s Hall in Fairchild.
The bride graduated from Osseo-Fairchild High School in 1973 and from Eau Claire
Technical Institute in 1974. She is employed as a medical records clerk at
Memorial Hospital. Her husband, a 1974 graduate of Neillsville High School,
enlisted in the U.S. Army in March of 1975 and is stationed in Karlsruhe,
Germany. They will make their home in Neillsville.
