In sub-zero temperatures Tuesday morning the fire department fought a blaze for
three hours at the Peter Brockhaus home in the Town of Green Grove. The alarm
sounded at 3 a.m. and the department remained at the scene until 6 a.m.
The home is located four miles east of Owen and two miles south and is believed
to have overheated wood stove.
