Browe, Rev. Raymond H. (8 April 1893 - 14 April 1983)

The Rev. Raymond H. Browe, 90, who served parishes in the Dorchester, Marshfield and Chili areas, died Thursday evening at the Dunn County Health Care Center, Menomonie.

Services will be Monday at the United Methodist Church, Menomonie, with the Rev. Milton Ford officiating. Burial will be in the Iron Creek Cemetery near Menomonie.

Visitation will be at Goodrich Funeral Home, Menomonie.

He was born April 8, 1893, in Menomonie and married Ivy McClaine September 4, 1923, in Menomonie.

He was a minister with the Evangelical United Brethren Church for 34 years. The Rev. Browe was a veteran of World War I, a member of the American Legion, and also served parishes in Wheeler and Prairie Farm.

He was pastor of Zion Evangelical United Brethren Church in Marshfield from 1944-49. He then was assigned duties at Chili from 1949-54 and moved to Prairie Farm in 1954.

Surviving are his wife; one son, William of Marshfield; three daughters, Shirley Roehrborn of Cadott, Betty Ladron of Stratford, Pat Lamke of Racine; three brothers, Leonard and Milton, both of Menomonie, and Russell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Added note: Served at the Salem church in Dorchester in the 1940's
