Dr. John W. Morris, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty
at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, is sending letters to the parents of
1,610 students listed on the Dean’s Honor List for the first semester of
1975-76. To be listed on the Dean’s Honor List, a student must attain a grade
point average of 3.5 or better, earning during the semester at least 12 hours of
credit, excluding repeated courses. During the first semester of 1975-76, the
grade point average of 3.5 or better was attained by 406 freshmen, 425
sophomores, 296 juniors, and 483 seniors at UW-Eau Claire.
Of these, those attaining a 4.0 average, or an all A letter grade, totaled 103
freshmen, 90 sophomore, 69 juniors, and 125 seniors, or 387 in all.
Area students on the Dean’s List include: Robert Tauchen, sophomore, Curtiss;
Philip Larson and Patricia Warns, Seniors, Withee; and Linda Mauel, freshman,
Linda Fredrick and Cheryl Schulz, juniors, and Aileen Zarnstorff, senior, Owen.
