Kell, Irene (27 Aug 1915 – 8 Feb 1976)
Mrs. Irene Kell, 60, died Sunday at her home in Withee.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, February 11, 1976 at St. John’s
Lutheran Church, Withee. The Rev. Douglas R. Groenewold, pastor, will officiate.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.
The former Iren Wolf was born August 27, 1915 at Wausau, and attended the Wausau
public schools. After her marriage to Norman Kell on June 24, 1939, at Wausau,
the couple lived in Wausau until moving to Medford in 1947. They managed an A &
P store there for 13 years, and then came to Withee in 1960, operating a grocery
store here until 1975.
Mr. Kell died January 10, 1975.
Survivors include a son, Roger, Thorp; four daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Barbara)
Blumenstein, Owen, Mrs. David (Sharlotte) Hatlestad, Withee, and Mrs. Larry
(Sheryl) Rondorf, Loyal; a sister, Mrs. Gust (Laura) Post, Wausau; three
brothers, Raymond Wolfe, Mercer, and Russell and Herbert Wolfe, both of Wausau,
and 14 grandchildren.
She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and its Ladies Ad and American
Legion Auxiliary.
The family has suggested memorials be made to the building fund of St. John’s
Lutheran Church, Withee.

Mr. and Mrs. Dan Turner announce the birth of a baby girl, Rachel Ann, born on
Monday, January 26, 1976, and weighed eight pounds, fifteen ounces.
She was welcomed home by a sister, Becky, and brothers Wesley and Matt. Maternal
grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Worden and paternal grandparents, Mr. and
Mrs. William Turner.
