Westfall, Erwin (12 March 1897 - 18 April 1983)

SPENCER -- Services for Erwin Westfall, 86, of the Colonial House of Colby will be Wednesday at United Methodist Church, Spencer. Mr. Westfall died Monday at the nursing home.

The Rev. Charles H. Strong will officiate. Organist will be Mrs. Linda Roeder and the soloist, Mrs. Carol Kasper. Burial will be in West Spencer Cemetery. Visitation will be at Rux Funeral Home, Spencer.

He was born March 12, 1897 in Athens, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Pauline Kegbein) Westfall. He married Bernice Jacobitz February 25, 1922 in Hamburg. He farmed in the town of Spencer until 1933, when they moved into the city of Spencer. He was employed by Guy Ingham Fur Farm in Spencer for several years and by pathfinder Mobile Home, Inc. of Spencer until retiring.

He was an Army veteran of World War I, and a member of United Methodist Church, Spencer.

Surviving are two sons, Perry of Spencer and Franklin of Milwaukee; three daughters, Mrs. Russell (Donna) Sampson of Spencer, Mrs. Clifford (Joyce) Learned of Saukville and Mrs. Harold (Ardith) Kieckhafer, West Bend; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchild; and five great-great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a son, his parents, four brothers and five sisters.
