Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 9, at the George Carson Funeral
Home for George Payne of Independence, Mo. Mr. Payne succumbed to an apparent
heart attack at his home in Independence on November 6.
He is survived by his wife, known in this area before her marriage as Pauline
Schoenherr. She is the sister of Theodore Schoenherr and Mrs. Ottillie Kunkel,
both of Neillsville.
