Capt. William H. Cole, whose parents are Mr. and Mrs. Donald O. Cole of Rt. 2 Loyal, has received a regular commission in the U.S. Air Force.

Capt. Cole, who previously held a reserve commission as an officer training school graduate, was named for regular status on the basis of educational background and outstanding duty performances as an Air Force officer.

The captain is assigned at Woodbridge RAF Station, England, as a flight examiner with a unit of the Military Airlift command.

A 1964 graduate of Loyal High School, Capt. Cole received a bachelor’s degree in 1869 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is presently working toward a master’s degree at Troy State University extension at Woodbridge during his off-duty hours.
