Colby, Vivian F. (14 November 1916 - 20 April 1983)

ABBOTSFORD -- Mrs. Donald (Vivian F.) Colby, 66, an Abbotsford native, died Wednesday at her home in Portage.

Services will be Monday at the Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford. The Rev. Kenneth A. Dix of First United Church of Christ, Colby, will officiate, with burial in the Abbotsford Public Cemetery.

The former Vivian Moore was born November 14, 1916 in Abbotsford. She and Donald Colby were married July 17, 1939 in Waukon, Iowa. She had lived in La Crosse and for the past 23 years in Portage.

Surviving are her husband; one son, David of Nekoosa; one daughter, Mrs. Rita Kay Remmenga of Grand Ridge, Illinois; one sister, Mrs. Colleen Waters of Wisconsin Rapids; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
