Ihlenfeldt, Stanley W. (Award- 1976)
A former Clark County Agricultural Agent, Stanley W. Ihlenfeldt, was one of four
Wisconsin men to receive (outstanding service awards” for their contributions to
soil and water conservation. The presentation was made last week at the 23rd
annual meeting of the Wisconsin Association of Soil and Water Conservation
districts in Stevens Point.
Ihlenfeldt, who is now agricultural agent for Walworth agent from 1949 until
1959. In the period since going to Walworth County, Ihlenfeldt has retained a
close connection with this area. He owns a cottage in Hatfield, where he and
Mrs. Ihlenfeldt and their children, Dick and Lee and their families, spend
considerable time during the summer months.
