Clay, Gordon (CESA-6 Coordinator - 1976)
Gordon Clay of Rt. 5 Chippewa Falls has been named coordinator of the
Cooperative Education Service Agency No. 6 (CESA 6) effective January 1. He will
succeed Henry Anderson of Thorp, who is retiring after serving as coordinator
since the agency’s beginning in July 1965. Mr. Clay has been with CESA 6 for
nine years, serving as school psychologist for three years, and as director of
pupil personnel services and Title I Project director for six years. He is 43; a
graduate of Spooner High School; the UW-Eau Claire; and received his M.S. degree
in guidance and counseling from the UW-Stout and has done postgraduate work at
Stout and the UW-Superior. At Stanley he taught social studies and was an
assistant coach. He also was on the faculties of Barron High School, Columbus
High School at Marshfield and Menomonie High School.
