Henninger, Helen (14 December 1903 - 22 April 1983)

GRANTON -- Mrs. Emil (Helen) Henninger, 79, of the Neillsville Memorial Home Friday evening at the home.

Services were today at United Methodist Church, Granton. The Rev. Charles Sanford officiated and burial was in the Windfall Cemetery, Granton. Jeanette Steiner was organist.

The former Helen Bender was born December 14, 1903 in Wisconsin. She was married to Emil Henninger and they farmed in the towns of Fremont and York. He died December 20, 1975.

Surviving are one son, Vernon of Neosho; two daughters, Mrs. Rudy (Lavorne) Horvat of Willard and Mrs. Gerald (Audrey) Klein of St. Paul, Minnesota; 22 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Forrest of Yakima, Washington, Vern of Prescott, Washington, Bryon of Moses Lake, Washington; and two sisters, Mrs. Roy (Elsie) Johanknecht and Mrs. Russell (Marie) Johanknecht, both of Waupaca. She was predeceased by a brother.

The Gilbertson Funeral Home, Granton, was in charge of arrangements.
