Montgomery, Peter (25 October 1902 - 25 April 1983)

GRANTON - Peter Montgomery, 80, of Luger Route, Phillips, formerly of Granton, died early Monday morning at Park Falls Hospital.

Services will be Thursday at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Granton. The Rev. Howard Ott will officiate. Organist will be Jeanette Steiner and the soloist, Connie Mullins. Burial will be in Windfall Cemetery, Granton. Visitation will be at Gilbertson Funeral Home, Granton.

He was born October 25, 1902 in Forest County. He married Iva Holden July 7, 1926 in Mt. Upton, New York. He lived in New York for a time and then moved to Granton, where he was employed by the Spry Elevator Co. and Harry's Hardware. He had been a resident of Phillips the past 12 years.

Surviving are his wife and two brothers, Allen of Granton and Byrl of Buckley, Washington. He was predeceased by one brother and three sisters.
