Holmes, Mark A. (1969? – 16 Feb 1976)

Mark Allen Holmes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Holmes, died Monday of injuries sustained in a school bus traffic accident here. He was six years old.

Born at Fort Pierce, mark has lived in Lake Placid for two years. He was a first grade student at Lake Placid Elementary School, and a member of the Jehovah Witness faith. He is survived by his parents, Lawrence and Janet Holmes; the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Buss of Owen, Wisconsin; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Holmes of Auburndale, Wisconsin.

Funeral services were held Thursday at 3 p.m. at Scott Funeral Home Chapel, Alvin Hinesley officiated, and interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
