Tieman, Charles (3 Feb 1882 – 14 Feb 1976)
Charles Tieman, 94, died Saturday, February 14, 1976 in the Meadow Park Nursing
Home in Clinton, Wisconsin.
A Beloit resident the past 53 years, he was born February 3, 1882 in Chicago,
the son of Frederick and Mary Tieman. He married Nellie Fawcett, March 2, 1898,
in Chicago. She died December 6, 1964. He was employed by Fairbanks Morse &
Company.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Elsie) Ingham, Beloit; two sons,
Glenn, Owen, Wisconsin, and Charles Jr., Thorp; and 26 grandchildren,
great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by
three sons.
Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 17th, in the
Chilson-Schoenfeld Funeral Home, with Rev. Gerald Krause officiating. Burial was
made in East Lawn Cemetery.
Attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Tieman, Mrs. Donald Tieman of
Greenwood, and Earl Tieman of Stanley.
