Taylor, Orville (13 Jul 1905 – 26 Mar 1976)
Orville William Taylor, 70, Owen, died at 12:15 a.m. Friday, March 26, 1976 at
St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, where he had been a patient since March 9.
Services were held at 3 p.m. Monday at the Kraut-Maurina Funeral Home in Owen,
with the Rev. Douglas R. Groenewold, Pastor of St. John’s Lutheran Church in
Withee, officiating. Burial followed in the Withee Riverside Cemetery.
Born July 13, 1905 at Dorchester, Mr. Taylor had resided in Owen since 1972. He
farmed in the Town of Little Black and later worked for Cranes Feed Store at
Owen from 1962 to 1972.
Mr. Taylor married the former Ada Huber on June 22, 1938, at Spencer. She
survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Walter (Marlene) Pietrzen, Owen; two
sisters, Mrs. Hattie Untiedt, Edgar, and Mrs. Lois Faude, Milwaukee, and a
grandson.
Preceding him in death were three sisters and three brothers.
Pallbearers were Erland Schweke, Albert Bull, Raine Bull, Norbert Untiedt,
DuWayne Matter and Isadore Schmidt.
