Hediger, Lucretia (Dean’s List - 1977)
Lucretia Hediger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hediger, Rt. 3 Neillsville,
and a freshman at Lakeland College, has been named to the dean’s list for the
first semester.
To qualify for the scholastic honor, the student must have enrolled in at least
four courses and maintained a 3.4 standing, which Is the equivalent of at least
two A’s and two B’s.
Lakeland, located in Sheboygan, is a fully-accredited liberal arts college,
offering a curriculum of 20 majors and 17 minors. It is the only college in
Wisconsin to offer a Health Cere Administration major and is the only small
independent college in the state with a journalism major. It operates on the
4-1-4 term schedule which provides two four-month semesters with a one month
Winterim session which offers in-the-field training in one selected subject or
travel abroad. Lakeland was the first Wisconsin college to offer this unique
schedule.
Founded in 1862, Lakeland nestles in the beautiful Kettle Moraine area of the
state. It is affiliated with the United Church of Christ.
