Balicki, Anna E. (4 Jan 1917 – 9 Apr 1976)
Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Balicki, 59, route 1, Withee, were held at 10:30
a.m. Monday at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church, Thorp. Rev. John Puerner
officiated, with burial being made in (New) St. Hedwig’s Cemetery, Thorp.
Serving as pallbearers were Harry Bonk, Randy Bonk, Donald Rusch, Aries Offord,
Daniel Balicki and Arthur Balicki.
Mrs. Balicki, who had been in despondent health for several months, took her
life in her home Friday forenoon, April 9, 1976.
She was born Anna Elaine Jurgelewicz January 4, 1917 in New York City. On
November 24, 1940 she and Henry Balicki wed in a ceremony performed in Chicago,
Ill., and had devoted herself to being a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband; three sons, Thomas, Schaumberg, Ill, Henry,
Chicago, Ill., and Gerald, Marshfield; three daughters, Josephine Ricciolli,
Lindenhurst, Ill., Annette Balicki, Chicago, Ill., Gloria, Eau Claire; two
sisters, Josephine, Balicki, Thorp, and Mary Waytowicz, park Ridge, Ill., and
nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph, and Louis.
