Paul Woik, 85, formerly of Owen, died at 6 a.m. Sunday at the Continental Manor
Nursing Home in Abbotsford.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday), April 14, 1976 at St. Paul’s
Lutheran Church, North Green Grove, with the Rev. Robin O. Fink officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Woik was born September 15, 1890 in the Town of Green Grove, where he
received his education, and later farmed. He married the former Pauline Dietrich
on August 20 1928, at Hilbert. She died in 1968.
He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Hans (Gertrude) Hennlich, Nekoosa, Mrs.
Marion Stacke, Abbotsford, Mrs. Ted (Bernice) Miller, Owen; and Mrs. Norwood
(Grace) Krueger, Franklin; two sisters, Mrs. John (Olga) McLaughlin, Lomita,
California, and Mrs. Frank (Hulda) Nedley, Milwaukee; 13 grandchildren and 27
great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by two grandchildren, a
sister, six brothers, a half-brother, and a half-sister.
