Ewers, William C. (24 October 1926 – 3 April 1977)

A former Neillsville residen6t, William C. Ewers, Santa Ana, Ca., died at St. Joseph’s Hospital there on April 3. Burial was to be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Santa Ana.

William Ewers, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Ewers, longtime Neillsville residents, was born October 24, 1926. He received his education in Neillsville schools. He had been living in California for the past 17 years, and four the last four years was employed as superintendent of a plant in Balboa Beach, Ca.

He is survived by his wife, Jean, a daughter, Betty, at home; two married daughters, Laura and Norene, both of Milwaukee, and by three sisters, Mrs. Theodore (Elva) Wallace and Mrs. Clarence (Norene) Reinart, Neillsville, and Mrs. Marian Sinclair, Santa Ana, Ca.

His first wife, Jeanene preceded him in death.
