Eisentraut, Debra Lee (16 April 1977)

Marriage vows were pledged April 16 at Calvary Lutheran Church by Debra Lee Eisentraut, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arne Eisentraut, Rt. 1 Neillsville, and Jerry Jake Cernik, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Cernik, Rt. 3 Neillsville. The Rev. Ronald Nordin officiated at the 3 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception and a dance at the American Legion Hall.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride appeared in a high-neck, traditional white A-line gown of taffeta with sheer overlay embellished with Chantilly lace appliques. pearl and lace trim circled the wrists and hemline. Her matching train length veil was trimmed with Chantilly lace. She carried a cascade bouquet of silk flowers combining pink sweetheart roses, baby’s beath and white carnations with trailing ivy.

Dixie Eisentraut, sister of the bride, was her maid of honor. Acting as bridesmaids were Miss Connie Daugherty and Miss Luann Stephenson, both of Rockford, Il., Mrs. Conrad Kozic of Spencer and Mrs. Clayton Hawley of Merrillan. Their blue halter dresses were topped by dotted swiss jackets with matching ruffle trim. They carried white baskets with pink sweetheart roses, baby’s breath and white carnations of silk.

Serving as bestman was Scott Krejci. Groomsmen were Bill Luedtke, Doug Cernik of Wisconsin Rapids, Conrad Kozic of Spencer and Clayton Hawley of Merrillan. Devere Krejci, uncle of the bride, and Leroy Fitzmaurice, uncle of the groom, sharded ushering duties.

Mrs. Kada Fitzmaurice, aunt of the groom, was the soloist. The organist was Dawn Urban, friend of the couple.

The newlyweds, who are making their home on Rt. 2 Neillsville are both 1976 Neillsville High School graduates. The bride is employed as a secretary at a local transport firm, and the groom works for a local manufacturing firm. They plan a wedding trip to Canada in August.
